Import Media causes MJ to close

When I try and import files to MJ using the Import Media button, MJ closes, also when I try and use import from explorer I get a message "cannot create Media Jukebox playback control.". Any assistance with resolution of this would be greatly appreciated. I've used MJ before, albeit an illegal version from a friend, and now that I purchased the darn thing I've been having trouble with this and skins. Go figure.

I would unistall and re-install again the latest, and reboot. Something is seriously messed up
