[Number Plays] Field Has Lost All Its Entries

For some odd reason, when I started MC13 today, a screen appeared telling me my 30-day trial was over. I have a paid version, so I followed the steps to reregister MC13. And I was successful.

However, I now see that all the entries in my [Number Plays] field have been deleted. Are they gone forever or can I restore them by creating a new library?

mc makes a backup often. you could restore a backup. go to file>library>restore backup. and pick the latest.
