Help - some albums sound like they're being played through water
« on: February 20, 2010, 07:26:21 pm »

Hello all,

When I play back some music, it sounds like it's being played too slowly, like the music is drunk. I see that Analyze Audio has the ability to change BPM and suspect that's what's happening, even though I have all DSP Studio options unchecked.

Can anyone help me? Can anyone tell me how to keep MC from manipulating my files when--what? Ripping? Playing back?

To go even farther, what settings should I check to make absolutley sure that MC is securely ripping bits and doing nothing at all to them, by ripping or by playing back? (I know Windows does stuff to the music, too, but I think I can at least prevent MC from doing anything.)

Thanks,
Eric.
