What Happed to my saved art work?
« on: June 30, 2002, 09:52:53 am »

After saving my art work in the MP3 tags. It's still in my cover art folder, until I reboot. After that The File wont open as A Jpeg. Its still there, but has been changed someway. They are Now VBscript files. What Happened? Can They Be Recovered?. I wanted to use them as a screen saver.
Please Help

Have you run a virus scan lately?  There was a virus going around recently that affected MP3s.

If you use external images (the default in MJ, and the less problematic way to save cover arts) than MJ just leaves the files alone and only keeps a link to them. Make sure you store the cover arts images in a folder that does not get cleanup up on reboot.

For your specific problem, just change the files extension to jpeg and see what happens
