I've been backing up my library using SyncToy to an external drive that I also take on the road with me for business. I have a local library saved on the drive along with my music files. When I sync file changes back to my desktop, I do a reimport of the local library and it fetches cover art/analyzes audio/etc.

I don't mind the extra time required to reanalyze the files but I would like to conserve the ratings I have applied in the external library while on the road and import them into the desktop library during sync. Is there anyway for MC to add the rating information to the file tags? This would also be nice in the event of library corruption (pertinent info would be stored in the individual files).
