MC 14.10.51 Auto Rip Database Lookup Multiple Matches not working

On both Windows XP and Windows 7x64 I have the checkbox on
Auto Rip Database Lookup Options
If Multiple Matches are found, choose the first one

However, when multiple matches are found the selection dialog box is always popped and ripping won't begin until a selection is made.
