Image or video?  If you mean image, you can use Media Editor.  It automatically saves the change information but doesn't modify the original file unless you tell it to.

For video, I don't remember whether the changes can be saved.  I don't think so.  Some attributes are.

JimH: thanks for replying. I`m talking about Video. MPlayer for windows has a software video equalizer that can modify gamma/hue/etc and save settings for each file to an ini file, that can be settled in preferences as one big ini file or multiple ini files. Position and other characteristics of each video file also goes there.
I have all my color settings (video card, monitor, windows, etc) calibrated, and in a perfect world we would no need color calibration.... But ... we do!

You can not set color settings for individual files.  The settings are saved only for each video renderer that supports it.

OK Yaobing, thanks for answering. Maybe the guys at JRiver should consider incorporating the feature. Video files vary a LOT depending on origin (and I am NOT talking about "pirate" files but original ones) and it would be very NICE having that feature.

Will stick with Media Center 13 for audio and MPLayer for video.
