Licence issue
« on: March 25, 2010, 05:29:26 am »

I was running v14 on Vista. PC has been now bee replaced by a WIN7 machine,
Installed v14 and went on-line to update my licemcve.
The licence emailed to me is for v12 and will not install!

So I went on-line and entered my registration  code and was again also supplied with a v12 licence?

Help.....

1. Just in case you wasn't aware of this: Do not post the code here in a further reply. (see this thread: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=56641)

2. Are you sure that the code is not for MC12? If you have purchased both versions they have separate codes.

3. Did you try the email option? (https://rover.jriver.com/cgi-bin/restore_email.cgi?displayemail=1) You should receive the codes for all versions you own if they are registered under the same email address. If you already did that, could it be possible that you provided a different email address when you purchased MC14?

4. Wait a few hours for a reply from JRiver. The local time in Minneapolis is now about 6:00 AM.

Thank you for the reply.
I did not understand that every version had it own unique reg code.
Matter is now sorted, but never heard from J River.
Thx

I'm glad it helped.

The first reply from JRiver would probably have been quite similar to mine if I had not replied. By the #4 I meant that only JRiver staff can help if the restore system really has a problem on the server side.

I didn't reply because Alex's reply was correct.  Thanks, Alex.
