Upgrade with dial up

Trying to take advantage of the sale price I entered my registration number and hit 'purchase'.  I was allowed to download and save the 'exe' file but never asked for payment information.  I hit 'run' and for an hour now the extraction window still says '0%'.  I'm currently using MJ13 as fourteen kept crashing my computer when first offered.  Any advice on how to get the new file to run on dial up?  Any ideas on why I wasn't billed; does this relate to why it won't run?  
The fact that MJ used Internet Explorer instead of my default browser may be causing the lack of response as IE is often defeated by my preferred browser   Peace, Charlie

If you chose Run, it may eventually run.  Download might be a better choice.
