I noticed this in V14, but never posted...
When in theater view and playing a playlist of mixed artists, the slideshow playing in the background plays properly for one song, but then doesn't switch on the next song until it is over.  Then the background slideshow is off by one song.  For example, while listening to Heart, everything was fine until the song was over. Then, a Fleetwood Mac song played and the slideshow in the background was still Heart .  When Fleetwood Mac was finished, the next artist was Led Zeppelin, and it had Fleetwood Mac! 
If I switch screens in theater view (info to list, or list to playing now), the background slideshow resets itself to the matching the artist playing, but then doesn't switch when that song is over.
I am not sure if this is an MC problem or my video card (a stock NVidia).

Update:  Same problem on my Asus Netbook...
