I upgraded to ver 15 today.  backed up library from 14, installed, restored library (both options).  The only thing I have out of norm is I set it to run "Play radio" from Theater view.
Now when I try to play a music file I get an error like:
The following module failed to load.
\\jriver\media center14\plugins\out_main.dll
Failed to load JRtools.dll

It's trying to load a dll from MC14 for some reason.

As an idea, try installing MC15 as admin (if you're on Win7/Vista) oh and close and restart MC befroe trying to use it.

Check your settings for Audio . . . . soundcard selection, direct-out/ASIO, etc.

I saw the same message and that is what fixed it. Device settings from the library backup didn't match the machine.

Thanks, it was set to ASIO changed to WASAPI and all is well.  Not sure what the problem was because I used to have it set to ASIO on that machine. 
Guess the question of why 15 is calling a DLL from ver 14 is still out there.
