Playback bug in 8.0.315
« on: June 28, 2002, 01:38:41 pm »

Whot!?  Only four hours from release until the thread is locked?  How much bug reporting do you expect to get with that?

Anyway here's a show interupter I have:  MJ is in Mega-Me with no skins, an mp3 is playing and I hit the 'minimize' button in the top right corner. Two seconds after MJ minimizes, the sound stops for 1/2 to 2 seconds - different tries, different times. BTW Mozilla is open with 2 windows open.

Can anyone else duplicate this?

I have had this problem with all the 8.0 releases I've tried.

As to your playback problem.... I can't replicate it.

LC,
On playback -- could be Windows swapping memory/disk.  Does it happen with other programs closed down?  Any plugins loaded?

On video problems -- is your video Nvidia.  There were driver problems reported.  It is very likely to be a video driver problem.
