Purchase procedures?
« on: April 11, 2010, 11:00:49 pm »

I have tried to purchase MC15 but when choosing VISA I get turned back and MASTERCARD is automatically chosen. Any ideas?

No.  I'm sorry.  Either should work.

There is no place for the VISA 3-digit CRV-code as far as I understand.

Close to the card number field is the "Promo Code" but no other extra field. I tried that field but as expected with no success. Where do I put in the CRV code?

Why is MASTERCARD pre-chosen? When I enter VISA and get sent back?

No CRV is required.  The promo code isn't required.

Well, I have bought both hardware and software over internet with no prior problems!! Recently I bought AnyDVD and the Paragon NTFS SW for MAC.

I have checked my card for available money.

I have checked the card number several times and re-entered the numbers. All with no success.

I click on purchase and come to a new page where I am told to verify and click purchase once. Then am I returned to the first page and "card number" and "valid until" is red and MASTERCARD is pre-chosen again!!

I do not know what else to check.

Occasionally international cards are a problem.  Please contact your bank.

The purchase of AnyDVD and Paragon were international.

I also have bought a Popcorn C-200 from Syabas which is a company with head office in USA, office in Malaysia and production in China. That also is international.

I have now been in contact with my bank. They have a new security procedure which after some initial problems now work for me.

I have now ordered MC15.

Yes, thank you.

But maybe could the information be different than telling me that there was an error with the card number and valid until information?

We don't get any details.  It passes or fails.  They don't tell us why.

Same answer.  I'm sorry.  We don't get any reason for a failure.  They only tell us yes or no.

Is Paypal an option?

Jim,

Hello I tried again this morning.
The Visa people tell me its the expiration date that is the problem on your end?

When I first went in and tried to order I did input the wrong expiration date and pressed the purchase button once...when I realized my mistake
I tried again and I am stuck in this loop now...

Paypal is not an option for me.

Is there anyway you could reset your server or clear the programs cache...this may help.

If not I can send you a certified check or money order etc..

Thanks
Alex

I wonder if it's the problem of reversed day and month.

October 22, 2011 is 10-22-01 in the US, but 22-10-01 in other parts of the world.  I'm not sure what the cc clearing company accepts in the second case.

Jim I just tried again same thing card data is not correct.

There isnt a way to enter the actual date in your form just the month and the year...

I called Visa again and they say it the expiration date that is being rejected, but the expdate is 06/2014 on the card and when I enter it.

I even checked the source code and it has the correct 06 and 2014 selected.

I hope you can contact your SSL server folks and resolve this one...

I see in your signature your the master of wierd problems..well here is one (LOL)...
