We are all deeply saddened by the passing of Capt. Phil last February. He was a devoted father and loyal friend to all who knew him. We will miss his straightforward honesty, wicked sense of humor and enormous heart -- in every way, he was a true American legend.

Phil was a star of Deadliest Catch from the series premiere in 2005, but what we all shared on TV for just a few years was only a small part of his life as a fisherman and father. He worked for 18 years as captain and co-owner of the Cornelia Marie and for 32 years in the fishing industry. The son of a fisherman, Phil is also the father of Jake and Josh Harris who both served -- and learned -- under him on the Cornelia Marie.

We're honored to have Capt. Phil with us for one more season of Deadliest Catch.

Both Me And Sue Were Shocked That Captain Phil Harris Died (He Was Still Young) When We Heard It In Feb, Then His Son Got A DUI, I Think Charges Were Dropped On That However.

My Nephew Is A Scallop Fisherman He Is A Captain Of A Boat Now. His Stories Are Similar To Deadliest Catch.

He Should Have Shown Some Control, But That's Not The First Time Keith Has Pissed Off One Of The Other Captains.

If Anyone Seen The Best Of Season Two, Got To See How The Ships Were Setup With Cameras, And What Goes On In The Background.

I Think I Could Do That Job When I Was A Bit Younger And Did Not Have A Bad Back, But I Do Know I Would Be Bent Over The Rail Barfing. I Always Get Sick When I Go Out On A Boat In The Ocean (And We Stop The Engines)
