I recently tried mp3tag to fix some cover issues and mp3tag has several great features that I would like to see in MC.
The main one is Actions, actions is a sequence of transformations (replacements, regex replacements, etc) on the metadata. With a single click you can do complex fixes on song names, artists, etc.
The second one which shouldn't be difficult to implement is regex (regular expressions) for replacements in the metadata. There are plenty of good uses cases for it. I need it mostly to fix some stupid tags from Napster.
