Why does media center not work with media player?

Well at work I only can use media player to listen to my music however, when I downloaded my media center and hit play it goes into error and I can't play my music. So I don't know if there is something that I am doing wrong or it is not compatable with media player?

JRiver Media Center can play most any type of file that Windows Media Player can play (and more).

What types of files are you trying to play using Media Center?

Matt thank you so much I fixed it I love this I am so stupid with computers and they fustrate me when I can't get them to do what I want but, with your fast response and your knowledge I think it is worth staying with media center and to purchase for 49.95.
