last.fm plug-in not found?
« on: May 02, 2010, 10:33:33 am »

Hi,

I've just upgraded to 15.0.32. When I select the last.fm plug in it tells me "interface plug in last.fm could not be found or created".  Any ideas?

Tools > Plugin Manager > Interface > last.fm
Is it listed there?
Is the show button grayed out and the hide button lit up?

Thanks for the response.

It is shown there (version 1.0.0.12)

The show button is (was) greyed out and the hide is available...

I've just clicked hide and it disappeared from the Services... tree.

Now, when I click show I get the error message and the buttons stay as Show available and Hide greyed out.

Hope that helps??!

Thanks again,

Mark.

Make sure this file exists:
C:\Program Files\J River\Media Center 15\Plugins\int_audioscrobbler.dll

Certainly is. Capital A, capital S. 513kB. Also says version 1.0.0.12

I appreciate your help with this. I'm trying to integrate MC15 into my Squeezebox using household, and last.fm is a part of that...

Thanks,

Mark.

Well, it seems to be fixed.

Since you told me the file, I tried the "Browse for plug-in" option and that allowed me to start last.fm plugin with no errors.

Don't know why it wasn't linked to start with? The install of MC15 seemed to go without a hitch. Only thing, software wise, I've done since is uninstall v12.

Thanks for the help in tracking this down.
