I already detailed this issue but did not get any comment back...
By default, MC sets the cover art as "Other" (wma and flac at least seem to have multiple cover art types) but my Nokia phone (I wouldn't be surprised that more devices do also) expects it to be set as "Front Cover". I don't know exactly how that translates in terms of WMA tags (I did this change using mp3tag) but without changing this, the cover art doesn't show on the phone. I suspect this could affect many other devices that use WMA.

In 15.0.47 and later, we'll change the WMA tagger to use '3' instead of '0' for bPictureType when embedding an image in the tag:
