lise: List-fields with acceptable values
« on: May 18, 2010, 05:37:09 pm »

if I add values to the mood and tempo tags in the action window, then click on the stars in the action window, the last value entered in mood or tempo is not saved.

I am also seeing an issue with tagging, but perhaps only with lists, and maybe only with lists that have a set number of values.

My custom tag is Historical Period, a delimited list with non-editable values.
I selected a few files and checked the two boxes highlighted in yellow. I can select one, but when I select the other, it defaults back to "not assigned".

My custom field should allow for multiple selections as it is a list

I can, however, click both in the Action Window (although the Historical Period in the pane doesn't change), but the changes are not saved.

I don't think list-fields have ever worked nicely with an acceptable value list when you tried to use multiple values for a single file.

This will be changed in build 47 and later:
Changed: List-type fields with a user-specified list of acceptable values did not allow setting multiple values to a single file.
