DSP Studio Does Not Work While Playing .m4a
« on: June 04, 2010, 07:17:22 am »

I have finally setup the DSP studio so I like the sound I get out of my computer speakers and it all works great with mp3.  As soon as I play .m4a, the DSP studio processing stops working.  The files play fine, just the processing is gone.  The DSP studio window displays the message "Playback has stopped or currrent playback doesn't support processing."

I have installed the CCCP codecs and I changed the settings to play .m4a via "JRiver video engine (using DirectShow filters)".  I tried to use "JRiver audio engine (using DirectShow filters)" and all I get is static.

The frustrating part is this setup worked on my previous PC.  I just got a new PC and copied all the settings and it just does not work.  Any thoughts?
