DTS Wave and Digital Output
« on: June 26, 2010, 05:30:39 pm »

I'm having some difficulty. I have a few albums that are in DTS format, each album is in a large WAV file. The WAV files has a CUE file that shows where the tracks start/stop.

I have my HTPC (running windows 7 Home Premium, MC15, CCCP) set up using Kernel Streaming via SPDIF (Revo 7.1) to a receiver that can decode DTS. I have imported the files into MC15 and MC15 sees the individual tracks and adds them as separate tracks to the index. I can only get static when I play them from within MC15.

Strangely, when I play them from windows explorer, MC15 will open them up and they will play, using this method I can't listen to an individual track.

I searched through the forum and see a lot of advice on getting DTS Audio files to work with the older versions, but with all the changes in MC and Windows since then, I am having trouble.

How do I get these DTS WAV files to play properly from within MC15?

Can you try just a WAV file without the CUE file?  Just to see if the CUE file is what makes it a problem?
