Simple Feature Request: Album Info

What about an Album Info toolbar button to instantly search AMG for currently playing album rather than artist results being returned, having to pick the right one, click on discography, and find album.

Links can be customized to run any search you like. You're still at the mercy of the finicky AMG search engine, however. A direct link to the album is handy, but sometimes the fastest route to the right album is via the artist's discography. Unfortunately, AMG has no "[album] in [artist]" type search.

I remember having custom links in MC14, you're right it was difficult to get right. I'll have to dig around and see if I saved anything.

For what it's worth here's my AMG album search:
Code: [Select]

All Music (Album)

[media type]=audio

1

http://www.allmusic.com

http:////www.allmusic.com//cg//amg.dll?p=amg&sql=2:Replace([album],/ ,|)

But as rick mentioned, due to AMG's album search methods it has limited success. I really only use it for soundtracks or other multi-artist compilations.
