DSP on/off function from remote?
« on: July 25, 2010, 01:00:02 am »

Hi,

I'd like to be able to enable/disable a DSP Convolver remotely (some music benefits, some doesn't) while in theater view.  This is the same more or less as ticking or unticking the particular DSP function.  Amongst the huge programmability of MC is there some way to do this?  I notice CPlay recognise the desire for this and bring the enable function out as a button on their main screen

tks

Currently DSP Studio is not controllable with a remote.  I agree it would be a nice addition.

Could you set up two zone:  one with the DSP on and then one with the DSP off? There is a Toggle Zone (Ctrl + T) command that might work with your remote. However, you would still need to know which zone to use before starting playback. You couldn't change it dynamically.
