Droid X and sync problems

I just got a new Droid X and have setup the sync options to sync one of my playlists on the device. I also set it up to Autosync when the device is connected.

My first sync went just fine, but the next time I connect the device, it seems like it doesn't remember what was last uploaded to the device and then attempts to upload everything again, but this time, it shows and error instead of it being successful.

I'm using MC 14.0.165 currently.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get around this?

When you plug in the device, does it show the files already on the device when you view it with Media Center?
