Encoding Type & Quality -- can't find MP3
« on: June 21, 2002, 02:00:32 pm »

Under Settings/Options/Encoding Type & Quality the only options I have are:

Ogg Vorbis
Ogg Vorbis VBR
Windows Media
External Encoder
MPEBplus Encoder
Uncompressed Wave

But what I want to output is a standard MP3 file. Any help will be most appreciated.

You just need the mp3 encoder plugin.

In plugin manager, there is a link to our plugins page.

Upgrade to Media Jukebox 8.0 if you aren't running it.

It uses LAME as its MP3 encoder, which is widely accepted as the best. (it'll automatically be installed with 8.0)

Take care.
