Please Help,

The "rename,move copy" is not working anymore.
I made shure the file is not write protectet,logged in as admin,I am the owner of the file and i even closed the anivirusprogramm to make shure no other process is accesssing the file..also tried to install an older version of mc..tried 80 and 73

Could you describe the problem you're seeing in more detail (i.e. what doesn't work)?

Also, double-check NTFS permissions on the source and destination folders.

I just did one last night, a move/rename operation, which worked fine.

ntfs user permission is set to full access files/folder

yes and i tried the same rename operation with tagandrename and it worked fine..so there must be something wrong with my mc15

Could tag and rename have the files locked?

no, i just opened it insteaed...with t&r...it's not active normally

Does another user have MC open?

If MC's internal logging isn't producing enough evidence to track this down, I'd suggest installing Procmon from here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx.
It will show both successes and errors in relation to file operations.

solved..my bad...I'm stupid as hell an tried to create the new folders on a device with the wrong driveletter...sory and thx...this took a day away...arghh
