Question: Changes in Video Sidecar XML files don't show, why?

We imported all our movies into Media Center and updated the movie info from Wikipedia and like to change some descriptions in the sidecar XML files (with a text editor, pretty simple) but...

our additions don't show when we move the mouse over a movie cover pic...  ?

can someone please tell us what we have to do to make it show correctly?! compile the XML file?

Make the changes inside Media Center, and let it write the sidecar files.

You could also right-click files and do 'Update Library (from tags)' if you needed to work in the opposite direction for some reason.
