no chance to try MC15
« on: August 18, 2010, 03:50:12 pm »

Would like to try MC15 on my Media Centre now, after I've made some hardware changes (TV Tuner).
However, half a year ago I tried MC14 but found out that DVB didn't work because of HW incompatibilites.
I think I've managed this now and would like to verify, but my trial license has expired. (refers to MC14 trial hald a year ago)
Is there any chance for me to try MC15 before I buy?

tnx

I actually did this but can't use it because the "trial period has expired". Apparently there is still some notion in the system fof my previous MC14 trial.
I don't know ho to circumvent this, that's what I asked.

You could try on a different PC.

You don't need any special hardware for testing.  Most any PC should work.

the TV tuner card caused the problems last time. I have a new one and think it's gonna work, but want to be sure before buying a license.
Is there a file or register entry that I should remove manually before installing MC 15 trial release?
