Someone (thank you!) posted some beautiful photos on www.pix01.com tonight.  They're from a hike in the mountains, not far from where I got soaked riding a Vespa in the summer of 1964.

I copied a few of the photos here.

nice pictures indeed.. i hiked there too.. about 25 years ago. no vespa. just a rucksack :)

and oh yes ..got soaked too. a thunder storm when i went to some peak (with hut) that made me went down again..
