Hi Tina and welcome to the forum!

Seems like you accidentally created a poll instead of a standard forum thread. The "Post New Poll" option is intended for, well, a poll. :)  "New Topic" would be more correct.

If you still have your old computer (and the MC12 instance) you can create a library backup file with it (File > Library > Back Up Library...) and restore it on your new computer after you have copied your media files and installed MC. (This would preserve you statistical data, playlists, view customizations, etc.)

The last MC12 installer is available here: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=10029.msg59949#msg59949. Download and install it. After you have run the installer MC is in the trial mode. You have 30 days to restore your license before the trial expires. The license restore page is here: https://rover.jriver.com/cgi-bin/restore.cgi. You can find additional info here: http://www.jriver.com/purchase.html.

Before restoring the library backup file you must copy the media files to your new computer. It would be best to copy the files so that the file paths would not change. It is possible to fix the base paths inside MC12, but that is a separate and a bit complex process. (If the files are on an external drive you can simply connect the drive, but it may be necessary to adjust the drive letter assignments.) If you have cover art in a separate dedicated folder you may also need to copy the cover art files.

After the files are copied you can restore the library backup file on your new computer. (File > Library > Restore...).

EDIT

If your new computer has also a new operating system you may want to consider upgrading to MC15. MC12 predates Windows 7 and some of its features do not work in an optimal way on Windows 7.
