I gotta say, I'm dissatisfied with the upgrade to 8.0.  I used to be able to download skins from several different players to use with MJ. Since I'm behind a firewall, I can't download anything from JRiver, so many of the new features are useless to me. If I start MJ in the morning, and I'm not careful and just press play, It plays my whole library. It never used to do that.  I'm sure that I can set the default to "Playing now" but I never had to do that before.

Do you have a problem that you need to solve or just want a shoulder where to cry?

For downloading I'm not sure what difference does it make to download from MJ or from other sites. Either you can access the internet or not.. If the automatic package installer does not work through your firewall there are ways to do that manually. As for playing, set you preference to remember where you were, if you prefer that.

If you have specific problem, I'm sure people will be able to help you

I have a firewall and i can download everything from J River.

Were there ever any others besides Winamp? I don't remember any other but Winamp skins in 7. And as far as I know, you can still use Winamp skins in MJ8, can't you? I haven't tried it because I personally hate Winamp skins.
