Can't override default MCE remote actions
« on: October 15, 2010, 01:33:14 pm »

I have an MCE remote and want to have the "Info" button issue the "Menu" command.  When I go to the remote command setup screen, I click on the Menu command and learn the "Info" button and it seems to register/assign it properly.  However, even after this the "Info" button always shows Playing Now.  The remote also has a '*' button and when I also enable the "HID remote" device and assign this button to the Menu command it works as expected.  Is there something I am missing to override the default MCE button actions?

Try clicking the Edit button for the command and enable the option "Suppress system handling during this command".
Sorry, the MCE remote actions aren't re-assignable.
