Grooveshark and Pandora for V15?
« on: October 23, 2010, 06:11:37 pm »

Is there any plans to support internet radio (besides winamp streams) like Grooveshark and Pandora? That would be a great feature and one I would upgrade for for sure.

Most internet radio is MP3 or WMA streams, which Media Center nicely supports.  Use File > Open URL...

v15 also added native Last.fm radio support under Player > Play Last.fm Radio...

Pandora is Shockwave Flash only, and they haven't responded to our requests for a native playback API.

I'll add a request for Slacker.com support if they'll work with you.

Also, any chance you could reroute the audio from a "Connected Media" web page to the currently selected Zone instead of the Windows default audio device?  I hate having to change the default audio out of my HTPC to one of my analog audio outputs to play Slacker over my whole house audio system, then remember to change it back to the HDMI output in order to watch Blu-rays through MCP-HC in the Theater.
