duplicate tracks when rip with Media Center 15
« on: October 24, 2010, 10:54:34 am »

For some strange reason the Audio view shows duplicate tracks after ripping with Media Center 15.  I have to go through each item and delete the extra track.  Anyone know why this occurs? Have I done something wrong with setup for ripping?  Have I "double ripped" each track, or is it simply that the individual ripped track is being shown twice in the Audio view.
My ripping, incidentally, does seem quite slow, so perhaps I am inadvertently ripping each track twice?  In any event, I need to correct the problem.
Thanks.

Did each ripped CD track actually create two separate disk files?

Please post the complete filenames (including the path) of a file and its duplicate. If this wasn't obvious, you can copy the names from the Filename library field.

Regarding the ripping speed, how does it compare with the reported speeds here: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=59038.0 ?
