Server forcing clients to update

I think it would be great, in library server configurations, if the server could force clients to always have the latest version that the server has.  It would even be great if the server could send the latest installer over the connection and silently install it -- even with MC running 24/7 on the client.  Wait for some idle delay and then silently close, update, and restart MC.  I know that would be a great addition!
