I ripped several CDs on a library server client.  I had to make sure the paths are perfect (since they don't sync from the server).  After doing this and ripping some files, I saw they appeared on the server except with no tags.  The files also appeared to not have tags because I played them in VLC and just saw the file name.  I then forced a sync to the server and everything was fine then.  Is this the intended behavior?  What if I would have closed the client without syncing?  Would all the tags have been lost?

CD ripping is not officially supported from a client.
