I'm intrigued how jitter is controlled by MC15 as present at the s/pdif output on a PC. I don't fully understand the concept, but enough to appreciate the need to synchronise the data sampling rate between transmitter (media player) and receiver/DAC. I am assuming that media centre has the same clocking issues that the digital side of a conventional CDP has...? I am guessing that using WASAPI for example removes a whole load of Windows processing that causes jitter....
Also, what effect does using DSP have on jitter, if any?
