iPod version?
« on: June 14, 2002, 11:37:39 am »

REally love my pc version of MJ.  I just got an iPod and am totally spoiled by MJs gapless playback mode.  Any chance JRiver will write a version with the crossfade option that will function on the iPod?....p.s. it works great on a pc, just a little more hands-on than using with a mac...bt

What software are you using to get the iPod connected to your PC?

I'm using XPlay from http://www.mediafour.com . They just released a beta version of the software and it seems to work really well.  Like I said, a little more tinkering than it would be on the mac but it works. As it's still pre-release software there are bound to be a few bugs still.  I tried the other program EphPod from http://www.mentaljewelry.org/ephpod/ which many users have said they prefer but haven't had much luck getting it to work.

bobbyt967,

I create the Plugins for Portable Devices for JRiver.  I am trying to gather more information to see if we can support the iPod from MJ but we are not ready to buy one yet. Would you mind dropping me an email at steve @ jriver.com so I can ask you some questions about how this works for you?
