I've got the same problem. It's irritating not just because I have to stop the ripping but also because i then also have to delete the folder created for this ripped album in my music directory. I looked at wiki for a solution but no cigar  :-X

You killed the rip progress Action Window after the last rip, right?

I think so, is that the wrong thing to do?

That should be right.  It considers you to be in the middle of a ripping "session" and rip the next disc if you leave that action window open.  If it is closed it will honor your settings.

Unfortunately MC15 is killing the rip when is starts and closing the action window as advised stops MC15 form ripping every CD. For a while it just let me decide whether to rip or not. But every once in a while it starts ripping the CD on it's own. And so on....

I can't reproduce the issue.  Please post your system settings (Help / System Info...) and your settings on the CD & DVD options page, especially under the AutoPlay item.  Also please list the exact steps you take which lead to the problem.

Thanks!

I have been going through some of my old CD collection and have been ripping a number of these CDs. What I have been doing is put a CD in, wait till it loads and play it. I then stop playback and rip it if I chose to or stop and eject it. At times, MC15 starts to rip a CD on its own after it loaded without any intervention on my part. I am not sure whether I am imagining it but more often that not MC15 starts ripping on its own when I load a CD after I ejected a CD which has just been ripped from start to finish. This is intermittent and happens every 5 CDs.

How do I attach the images that show the information you requested?

This is normal behavior.  When it is finished ripping a disc, if you don't close the ripping action window (lower left of screen) it will start ripping the next disc you insert.
