Perhaps a simple question but I have not seen the answer.  I am using the latest Media Centre 15.0.171.  Sometimes when downloading a classical album from ClassicsOnline, I get two duplicate albums with part of the tracks on one and part on the other.  For example, if an album had three symphonies each having four tracks, I might get two symphonies on one album and one on the second duplicate album.  I have tried to minimize differences to force JRiver to merge them.  The ID3v1 tags look identical but for track number, although the ID3v2.3 tags look quite different.  In one case, I have a duplicate album with only one track on it.  Is there a suitable way in JRiver to merge these duplicate albums into a single album?

MC thinks tracks belong to the same album if they have the same album title and album artist.
If the vaules in these fields are the same, it will be presented as 1 album

Assuming you have the MP3 files in a single album folder and the Album library field shows an identical value for all files, the problem is probably caused by differences in the "Album Artist" library field values (that library field should either be empty or the value should be identical in all files).

I did not realize the distinction between "Album Artist" and plain "Artist", or that Album Artist is the second key tag used for distinguishing albums.

All problems fixed.  Thank you very much for the help.
