DVD using ASIO with a BOSS GT-10
« on: January 08, 2011, 06:38:30 pm »

Hi guys!!!
I have a Boss GT-10 connected to my laptop by a USB cable.
When I set media center using asio (Asio4all) I can listen all music through GT-10 device.
The problem is when I try to see a DVD. There is no way to make media center to reproduce DVD using the same device used in audio playback.
Can you help me with this???

Thanks a lot !!!

In Options > Video, tell Media Center to use the same device as audio playback.

Also in Options > Video, pick AC3Filter or FFDShow for a DVD audio decoder.  Configure whichever you choose to output analog (i.e. disable all effects).

Finally, use DSP Studio in Media Center if you need to convert the DVD audio format to a sample rate or number of channels your soundcard can support.

Hi Matt

I need your help again...

I just buy the program and I have a new problem...

Today, I don't know why, when I try to reproduce a DVD I have a message "Disc Waiting" and there is no video or audio...

I tried to install FDDShow but it doesn't work...

I'm using the following configuration:

- AUDIO output mode: ASIO (asio4all)
- VIDEO play back device: same as audio
- Playback method and decoders: automatic

Could you help me again ?
I have no idea what happened...

Thanks,

Roberto
