I have a laptop running XP and a desktop running Win2K. If I start the Media Server (v1.0.131) on the desktop, I can connect to it and play tracks quite happily from the laptop, running Media Jukebox v8.0.293. However, if I try it the other way round, then I cannot connect to the desktop to play music, the Media Library just comes up as empty. If I enable Server Status on the laptop, I get the following sequence:
06/11/02 13:25:37 - sharer starting
06/11/02 13:25:37 - Initializing server.
06/11/02 13:25:37 - Server initialized
06/11/02 13:25:37 - sharer ready to accept connections
06/11/02 13:25:50 - received a connection
06/11/02 13:25:51 - ready for another connection
06/11/02 13:25:51 - private sharing thread started
06/11/02 13:25:51 - sharing thread exiting
06/11/02 13:25:51 - received a connection
06/11/02 13:25:51 - ready for another connection
06/11/02 13:25:51 - private sharing thread started
06/11/02 13:25:51 - request for library
06/11/02 13:25:51 - sharing thread exiting
So it can see the server quite happily, it's just not 'fessing up with a library list. Any suggestions?
