Sounds great.  I have a question on setting this up.  What will I need to hook up to my stereo and be able to select albums or songs to play?  I am assuming that the info will be displayed on the TV.  Is this correct?

It might be nice to have a couple of diagrams on how to hook this up with the different devices you have listed.  I reviewed the info in the wiki but I am still not clear on how this works.

It has RCA cables that can connect to RCA inputs on your receiver.  I often use Video or DVD inputs on a receiver.

For playback, you use MC or Gizmo.   With MC, the device shows up under Playing Now and you just drag and drop what you want to play onto the device there.  Once you've selected that device in MC, anything you play goes there.

Gizmo runs on Android devices and gives you a rich interface for selecting what to play.  It can switch among both servers and renderers.

The DLNA article on our wiki might help.  Gizmo is a Controller.  The Id is a Renderer.

If I understand you correctly, I need to set a play-list within MC and it is sent to my stereo.  Does this work for movies as well? 

Currently you cannot do a search or access the MC database in the other direction where you can display your database on the TV and select songs or movies.  Is this correct?

This one is audio only.  You can play anything, whether it's in a playlist or not.

There is no selection from the TV, but you could run Gizmo or WebRemote to select from an Android or other phone.

I have a Samsung Android phone. I downloaded Gizmo with great expectations as an avid registered MC user.

I duely put in the access code but  inspite of trying numerous times there was no connection to the internet from that point.
