License problem
« on: February 09, 2011, 06:23:58 pm »

Hi  -- Hoping to get a little advice here, not sure what to do. I purchased JRiver Media Center 15  a little while ago after using it for the trial period with good results. However, there was no auto-download. I did receive an email with my license key.

After rebooting my computer, same issue ... Media Center 15 isn't recognizing my purchase, and gives me the options of purchasing, restoring, or extending my trial period.

I attempted to "restore" and the program returned a message saying my license key wasn't recognized. After several attempts at this, I'm stumped.

I paid directly with MC (not through PayPal) and my card was charged.

Any ideas? What to do next?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jim (Lewesbound)

I answered your e-mail also, but I tried your license and it works.

Try downloading the latest MC from this site.  It's 15.0.174.

Try another restore, using copy and paste.

It shouldn't be necessary, but I would try rebooting.

Don't worry about using too many restores.  We can fix that once you're up and running.

Thanks Jim. Got the new license key, and downloaded current version -- didn't realize a new version came out within the last 30 days ...

Any, that did the trick. All is working well.

Thanks so much for the quick response!

Best,

Jim
