Gizmo and library interaction
« on: February 15, 2011, 02:28:54 pm »

Many thanks for the last.fm scrobbling with Gizmo, In a few short days, I've already tripled my Gizmo usage over the past couple months.

I was wondering what the future was with Gizmo and it's ability to interact with the MC library. I'd love to be able to rate songs and change other tag info through Gizmo.

I vaguely remember that there were security issues that made tagging from Gizmo problematic; is that still the case? Will Gizmo be able to interact with the MC library at all in the near future? How about the ability to add tracks to a playlist? That would be a huge help with updating tag info at a later date.

Thanks again,

Glad it's working well for you.

I think adding the ability to rate songs makes sense.  I'm less sold on something complex like tagging other fields.

Gizmo supports authenticated connections, so the security problem shouldn't be an issue.
