Tryed to restore my key
« on: April 06, 2003, 03:08:19 am »

Would you please fix the restore page, so that people that doesn't use internet explore can use it??

I'm using Mozilla 1.3 and after typing in my restore key info, it just showed me the content of the key file ( the one you can double kick on, and it then automaticly installes the key for MJ8 ).

Since I couldn't use that for very much, I restored my key again using Internet Explorer...

I think there is a reason why you must use IE, and i think it may have to do with some browsers do not support the way they have setup how MC\MJ installs it's self and plug-ins.

HL - while I am on your side (I use Opera), we don't have the resources to support the various browsers.

And, contrary to what some will say, I think it's up to the browser makers to conform to the defacto Microsoft standard.  If Microsoft would observe standards, that would also work, but I don't think I'll see that in my lifetime.

OK...how about a warning that informs you, that you sould be using IE to restore the key, and not one of the better browsers out there..   :)

This is just so you don't waste a restore...

BTW...didn't the numbers of restores change some time ago?
