Switching between HD and SD channel
« on: February 26, 2011, 04:53:33 am »

Hi,
I am running a fresh install of Win 7 - 64 bit Home Premium and MC 15.0.174. I have a problem when switching between HD and SD channels. When I switch channels there is no sound. This is fixed by cancelling or restarting timeshifting. I am in australia so it is a DVB-T card, a Hauppauge HVR 2200 dual tuner. I don't think it's an issue with the card. I can't see anything in the log that shows any errors. I can post if it would be helpful.

Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong spot.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

It's not your card. Either MC or the audio decoder being used for live tv playback is the problem. It's got to do with the way they handle PCM to AC3 stream changes. Google, download and install "AC3Filter" and use this for jtv file playback (under video options). This will solve your problem.

Thank you for the quick reply. It's working perfectly now using AC3filter.
