Video not working in MC16 for me

I cannot get any avi's or mkv files to play in mc16. The video is just a pink rectangle. I have audio it seems but no video.

Try updating your video drivers and then install CCCP so you have good, working decoders.

MKV support, once decoders are installed, should be top shelf.

Drivers are up to date and i already have cccp installed. Video playback is fine in version 15 but not 16. I am still getting the same pink as before.

I can reboot and play two or three videos and then the problem comes back. Not sure what's up. Guess I'll just stick to mc15 for a while longer.....I need to updgrade this old pc anyhow....This might give me a good excuse!
