Display View bug in build 039?
« on: February 25, 2011, 10:38:37 am »

Can't get Display View to show anything but a Black background.  Nothing happens when I right click to change visualization, etc....  ?
Also noticed that in Theater View, Playing now, Info, the cover art box has scroll bars.

Try changing the playback method and/or DirectShow filter.

What should I change it to?  I had it set to 'Automatic'
I made a few 'tweaks' (JRiver Engine, and DirectShow) and I still cannot get right click to work from Display view.  Had no problems w/ build 32.
Thanks in advance...

Quick update:  I just noticed that the right click only appears to affect  'Track Info' in Display view.  I can right click from Theater View, and change to 3D visualizations, etc.  If I choose 'Track Info' and switch to Display view, right click menu and double click to toggle out of the view won't work.  When I double click, the entire display is highlighted.  Weird.

What are you trying to play?  Filetype?

I am playing MP3s, and using "Track Info" in Display view to display Artist, Track, Cover Art, etc.  I prefer it to Theater View. :)

It's a bug. I changed my visualization to "Track Info" and then no longer had a context menu. I had to double-click to make it full screen, then use the menu on the player bar to change it back.

Notice it as well except I can't double-click to full screen in track info view either.

Right. Now I don't know how I managed that. I must have changed it to a visualization first.

BTW, display options are still available on the Player menu, but we shouldn't be losing the context menu and double-click behaviour.

FYI with .42 track info view seems to be fine in its behaviour.
