Remote Control Plug-ins and win xp

in the plugins page i see 4 but they dont say that they support win xp and which one i must dl and which is the best has anyone tried them  http://www.musicex.com/cgi-bin/downloads/plugins.pl?type=9  i found some at winamp will that work for media jukebox

Girder and an IR input device like the IRMan or others...

Then use the MJv8 group export for IR control...

Girder is the de facto command and control application among HTPC'ers... there are others but Girder is the most powerful IMHO...

MJv8 group export for IR control where i can find this

ps i have an old aims lab remonte sensor can i connect it to the sound card line in?? and make it work or where can i connect it (the plug does not fit com port it looks like the one on headphones, microphone etc small)
